Been a while! Mars 18-04-14

Hello all.

It has been a long time since i`ve really been on here or been able to do any practical astronomy. Life takes over and all that!!

So it was great to get down the obsy last Thurday night/Friday morning with my daughter to get back under a clear sky!

Grabbed a few AVIs of Mars with a philips spc880(flashed to 900).

Just thought i`d put up a quick image of Mars from that night.

This was taken using a SW 200p with a philips spc880. Also added a x3 barlow. 

Captured with Sharpcap2 capturing 7005 frames .Put the AVI through Castrator that left 5091 frames then stacked 45% of these with AS!2.

Wavelets with Registax6.

I upsized the image in GIMP by 50%.

Just a quick one but i`m fairly happy with it.
