Another one I took the other night,taking advantage of the clear skies!!Thanks go to Mark for cleaning the image.I've got a few bits of dust on my sensor :embarassed:

ZEQ25GT,200PDS,Canon 350 D modified fitted with Astronomik CLS filter,ISO1600,approx an hour of data.

I think there's some good detail in this, but you've clipped the background too far. You can see this with halo's around the galaxies and brighter stars. I think a reprocess really keeping an eye on the histogram will really help to change this from a good image to an even better image :smiley:

That's great. I have this pair on my camera ready to download and process. A nice pair of really interesting galaxies. Did any of your subs have satellite trails? This area seems to be the M25 (motorway) for satellites.

Thanks WaveSoarer,can't recall seeing any sat trails in my subs,mind you I was sat inside just glancing once in a while at team viewer on the laptop ;)

Thanks Sara,Mark(Quatermass) processed it and he says I have a lot of dust etc on my sensor so maybe that's why ?
