Captured with an Altair Astro 115 EDT-APO and Full frame Nikon DSLR.

10x600s subs at 800ISO.

Processing in PI and PS-CS3

Very sharp! There's something about seeing a galaxy just hanging there in a starfield. I particularly like the hockey-stick-shaped asterism just to the right of this beautiful galaxy.

Superb, try t SCNR in pixinsight to get rid of the green background

All I've done with this image is to use the Histogram and Curves Transformation tools in PI. DBE was tried but didn't do a great deal for it so I stepped back and left the image as was. I will run SCNR and see what effect that has.
