Hello

Just bought a new telescope for my son and I to enjoy. It replaces a very basic one I had a few years ago.

Looking forward to it arriving and being able to try it out. Pity I head back to work tomorrow for 4 weeks.

Fit like, from another Aberdonian. A newcomer but mildly obsessed ...

Been fairly frustrated with the skies lately - as you'll know, gorgeously clear all day then overcast at night! Yesterday, the haar rolled in about teatime. Could hardly see across the street. And cold. And damp.

Reduced to reading furiously and trying to learn as much as possible in an armchair!

Better times will come. Keep posting and stay in touch. The folks on SGL are amazingly helpful and knowledgable.
