Hi Everyone,

My name is Michael based in Slough, UK.  I've always been interested in astronomy but due to time restraints, I am unfortunately still very much a keen amateur.  :embarrassed:

With a south facing garden I can see most of the planets over my house at night.  But the light pollution doesn't do my SkyWatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO 130mm Reflector telescope any justice.

Shall be getting a pollution filter and need a few good eyepeices to begin with.

Here's my toy

Hi Michael welcome to the lounge,

nice choice of scope, I hope you enjoy the views you get with it,

L P is a frustrating problem, as to is the weather, but with this

great hobby it does have it's downsides, but i'm sure you will

still have a great time.

Good Luck and Clear Sky's

Thanks very much guys for the warm welcome.

I've just come accross a post BrantUK made in topic "Skywatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO lense help"

I guess after some time viewing with your stock scope, you start to ask the question "How can I make my viewing better?".

Could anyone please point me in the right direction with my first post here? :  Skywatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO lense help

And thanks again.
