Kenza
Hi! Can I keep the filters loaded in the filter wheel all the time or is it better to take them out after each session?
PeterCPC
Keep them in if you are happy with the ones you have chosen but write down what they are as you will forget. Dust off the filters from time to time with an airbrush.Peter
ChrisLX200
Hi! Can I keep the filters loaded in the filter wheel all the time or is it better to take them out after each session?Keep them in for sure, and keep the system capped off when not used to prevent dust entering or you'll be needing to replace your flats at regular intervals.ChrisH

Is that enough?

davedownsouth
Yes, annoying that the fitter wheels don't come supplied with caps & plugs so you can leave them set up. I had to buy a set separately for mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kenza
I just found out that TS sells these Baader Caps which I think fit SX wheels. So if anyone has an SX wheel or similar here are the links:http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p5864_Baader-T2-Protection-cap-for-male-T2-thread.htmlhttp://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p5865_Baader-T2-Protection-cap-for-female-T2-thread.html

lensman57
Hi! Can I keep the filters loaded in the filter wheel all the time or is it better to take them out after each session?Keep them inside an do make sure the wheel is well coverd so dust can not get in. Always follow the naming protocol so u remember what u have put in there ie: LRGB in holes 1,2,3 and 4 , thenHa, Oiii and Sii , this way u always remember the position and the corresponding filter.A.G
