Hello Everyone! I am new here and I am into astronomy. I am studying astronomy in college right now and I do have a mandatory camping trip coming up. I am looking forward to it as well. I do own a telescope that my mom bought for me while I was in high school, Its old, still works although I need a new tripod for it. I am looking forward to learning some new stuff as well as sharing on this site.

THanks, I am looking forward to the camping trip much to the dismay of my fiance, He got a bit upset at the weather during the lunar eclipse which was a bit understandable because we had clear skies, cold air and wind. You could see the wind blowing particles in the air through the telescopes. But we still had amazing views despite that.

Welcome from sunny West Wales, where the skies are always clear (well, maybe not always!)

Hope the camping trip goes well and you get some clear nights. Even without a scope it's good to have the opportunity to learn and find your way around the night sky.
