Has anyone attempted this? Is there a online resource that would be a good guide/reference?

Hi Clive, this link http://www.cloudynights.com/category.php?category_id=145&pr=3 shows stripping a C11.  Scroll down and you will find a 9 part detailed description.

Should give a good idea of what's involved sorting a C8.
