Guidescope required but not sure what

Recommended Posts

Tuesday saw the delivery of my neq6 mount and skywatcher ed80 refractor, got it setup due to shockingly having clear skies that night and loved it. However plan is to start imaging with the setup as I have a canon 1100d to mount to the scope, and a QHY 5-II as a guide camera but no guidescope at this point in time.

I've seen a vixen 80mm refractor but no idea if it would suite a guide scope, focal length is 900mm which would be nice as a dual purpose lunar/planetary scope but no idea if the focal length is going to cause an issue with what I have. Any suggestions or comments as to the best sort to go for gratefully welcomed
