Walshie79 Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Just discovered to my delight that my Skymaster 25*70s will easily split this one, even with this moonlight, to the point where I can clearly see they are different colours. I thought it would be possible but never imagined I'd see it that clearly, especially as its not particularly high right now. brantuk Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 I've not looked at many doubles - but of the ones I have this is my favourite - it's a breathtaking sight which really makes one think about relative distances, orbits, and sizes, and the evolution of stars.
