I used plywood to box in my pier.  I didn't want to directly attach anything to the pier that might cause vibrations.  So there are sets of double sockets in IP rated boxes, an IP rated 12V power supply and IP boxes for power supplies too big for the socket boxes.  Also an IP rated box where comms cables exit, so that those cable ends (usb etc) that aren't connected are curled up inside.  All are screwed to the plywood.

use the traditional waste pipe with draw string to pull the cables through from the warm room to the pier.  Home made power box containing LED dimmers for controlling dew straps, 8.5v for the dslr camera, and a few 12v outlets for scope and other items.  Two 5m active USB cables, one used to connect to a USB hub on the pier, the other a direct connection to the PC.  Serial shutter release cable for the camera, and a serial lead as back up in case the USB hub fails so the scope can still be controlled via EQMod.  Power is from a 13.8v 20A switch mode PSU in the warm room.

If you're asking about pictures of the waste pipe used to run cables, here's how I've done mine

I've used only 45 degree bends (actually, I think they call them 135 deg) to make it easier to pull cables with plugs through.

The mount side a few months later...

and the warm room side...

Wow Chris, that is impressive, I thought I was doing well with a 12v Power Pack from Maplins in a wooden box with some 6 x 12V outputs connected to my powered USB Hub from Amazon, I was satisfied until I saw this, Great job.

Regards

Mike

Chris, do you have a parts and supplier list, at least for the main components. Having seen yours I must have a go to improve my wooden box mentioned above!! Supplier of the box, USB bits and power supply would be a very good starter i can use some bits from my existing for the minor capability items; I'm sure a number of other people would welcome the same info, must have a go at one of these (or similar) I think that I have found my winter project??
