Registax error msg: this pin cannot use the supplied media type

Hi - Went out this evening after probably more than a year out of Astronomy to look at Jupiter and Mars and decided to have a go at imaging Mars. Took about 10 AVIs via my DBK and the IS Capture software.

Alas, when I got back in to take a quick look in Registax when I open each one (except 2 of the AVIs I get the above error message.

Is there anything I can do to make Registax read the files? (Out of interest, the two that load upshow the duration of the AVI when you hover over the filenames but not the other eight.

If there isn't, any advice would be appreciated.

Try running the AVIs through PIPP.

Sounds like you don't have the correct codec installed to play that type of media
