Who are you and where do you meet?  I have just acquired a scope and feel I would like to meet some more experienced star gazers who can show me what I have been missing.

Have a look in the social secion of the site. You can also do a web search to see what clubs are local to you.

Folk on here are spread out all over the world but there is a big concentration within the UK and Europe.

We meet in the car park on Ranmore common. We tend to post on here when heading up so others can meet up with us.

It's been a bit quiet on here recently due to the lousy weather but it should soon start getting busy once it improves.

I'm off to the SGL star party next week, so won't be around myself hopefully one of the other guys will be about if it's clear.

Local meetings are often advertised on the site, not sure how many are around the Mull area though Richard. Maybe doing a search for a local group may be a good starting point.

But Caterham is light years away from Mull!! Tiree is close, but I am currently in Caterham!

Richard - the our Ewell Astro Soc meets @ Nonsuch HS for Girls - Cheam 2nd Friday each month [except August] @ 8pm for talks etc and has bi-monthly meet at school's rooftop observatory - goggle Ewell Astro Soc for prog
