Weird stuff

Hi

My configuration is : Nikon D7100 + Nikon 180 mm f2.8 prime lens + iOptron Skytracker

I was playing around with a set of subs on Andromeda which I had used previously for producing a neat image (given the light pollution and the limitation of my equipment) when I decided to try to turn on the Bayer drizzle parameter of RAW FITS files

Here's what I got :

What in the world is this ?

I retried with other sets of subs but did not get this pattern (or any pattern of the sort)

As you've previously processed this image and produced a good image it must be a problem with the stacking, if that's all you've done differently. I've not managed to produce anything useful with Maxim's drizzle stack but the Pixinsight team have promised a version of it before long so hopefully that'll work OK.

cant help you with your problem, but Andrew is correct you have stacked ot once so it must be a problem with the stacking.
