Best Jupiter so far! SW150PDS

This is my best Jupiter so far.

My setup is a Skywatcher 150PDS on a EQ5 GOTO mount.

Here I used a 2x Barlow and a Canon 600D, recording at 10x digital zoom 1920x1080 pixels.

Around 3000 frames were acquired and 1200 frames were stacked in Lynkeos. The final picture was modified in Photoshop.

What can I do to further improve?

I don't know how you can improve that but I will say you've done really well to get surface detail on Jupiter AND have the moons appear clearly - well done

I suppose a bit of curve application on the moons in photoshop would bring them out like this? I've never tried

Really good image

That is great. Lots of detail and the moons are nice and bright.

For my own prefernce, I think you have over processed the planet, and it looks a bit 'fake', but this might have happened as you wanted to keep the moons bright. There will be a way around this as I'm sure one of the clever guys will be able to advise.

But really great start. Well done.

Have you tried slightly alrerting the RGB alignment in something like Registax? Theres a tiiiiiiny line of red around the bottom of the planet, might be worth just nudging the red slightly higher in the Y axis. Apart from that, brilliant sir :)
