Supernova in M82

Justin case anyone hasn't seen, there has been a new supernova in M82 discovered, currently approx Mag 11, expected to brighten.

Has been posted in the binocular observing section too. I found it in my 10" dob last night, fairly faint, but conditions weren't perfect. Hoping to catch it over the next few weeks to track it's brightening.

I found later that it is well covered in the deep sky section!

I got it yesterday evening in my C8. No luck in 15x70 bins

I couldn't see it in my 10x50s, it was faint enough in the 10" dob

Seems to be levelling off a bit.
