Hi Montana,I too saw a bright green fireball (Bolide?) many years ago.From what I remember of it,I think that it was a' sporadic' meteor.  I thought that the green colouration might point to it having a Copper content (I was studying 'O' level chemistry at the time- I said it was years ago!).

Damn, missed it. I must have been pretty close because I was out looking at Jupiter at about 7 am this morning, in deepest Lancashire.

It was certainly very bright, I think the brightest I have ever seen. Thanks for the info I wonder if a meteorite was deposited somewhere?

I think they expect that it burnt up in the upper atmosphere.

I saw this fro  beer garden in Worcester. It must have been between 9:15 - 10:30 I could be a little more precise if I loked into it. It was the biggest and brightest I have ever seen by quite a long way! Amazing

Having just re-read the first sightings, it appears that these were different. I was in the beer garden on Tuesday Night 01/04/14. This thing was bright green and masive but the time doesnt match
