Not sure testing follows the .. some old (16IC), something new (383L), something borrowed (11000 & 4000) and something blue (titan).. the circuit board is my skeleton 4000 and finally an EFW2.

My weekend is a final hardcore testing session for the OSX drivers I've been writing. The 428ex through 490ex have already been tested and work nicely.

Steve at ATIK has kindly loaned me a 11000 and 4000 for testing for the weekend.

I'll probably try putting together a through the scope comparison tomorrow .. but for now.. let the testing commence!

Ok, I'll not bore you further except the obvious shot - plug everything in and connect them to the app at once :D

They're all taking photos continously at the moment .. seems to be about 28.11 degrees in here now.. better open a window lol

So.. did the 4000 and 11000 work?

ATIK 4000M

Video (small sized so you best watch in the window here):

Capture Image:

Pentax 105SDP with 2x TV PM giving 1340mm focal length (~f/12.8), running below dawes limit of the scope. Minced my words slightly - Baader UV/IR on, as well as neodymium and L. Image exposure was that of the video.

ATIK 11000M

Now this is something I wanted to try for a long, long time.. 11000 in the back of the Pentax through the TV 2x (scope at 1340mm fl). I had to steal the nose off the EFW2 as the 11000 needs a M54 thread not a T-thread!

Video (again small size):

Capture Image:

Pentax 105SDP with 2x TV PM giving 1340mm focal length (~f/12.8), running below dawes limit of the scope. Minced my words slightly - Baader UV/IR on, as well as neodymium but not L. Image exposure was that of the video. As I expect, the TV is adding some curvature (see top left). At native resolution it's flat..

And to the question .. does the Pentax 105 SDP cover an 11000's chip? Here's at native 670mm..

I think there's some vingetting but that may also be down to the 2" nose and filters being in the optical train too - also it may be as the camera is running at zero degC. Any thoughts?
