Recommended Posts

Hello,

this was my third session and I think the seeing was pretty good, Jupiter was stable and showed a lot of detail!

I just went out and started imaging with the Firefly Mono without even letting the scope cool down, took a few AVI's and stacked them right away with Autostakkert.

I'm pleased with the result, much better then the previous ones :) What do you think?

Telescope: Skywatcher Explorer 200P

Mount: Eq5 + Dual Axis Motor

Barlow: Antares 3X

Camera: Firefly Mono

Software: Flycapture + Autostakkert on Windows XP (Virtual Machine on MacBook Pro)

Location: Cork City, Ireland

Frames: 500 at 30 FPS

Thanks for looking & Clear Skies :)

Nice image, you got the transit i was watching visually :)

Ah! I wasn't quite sure if it was a moon or some dark patch of Jupiter and I wouldn't dare asking :D (if you were referring to the dark patch)

What was that transiting moon? :D :D
