This is the first mosaic I have done since I got the 250 Dob. The conditions were great and this is the best mosaic I have created bar none (I've only made 3/4 others :p ). The moon was high in the sky which definitely made a big difference to the image stability. I am really pleased with the result and so glad I got up at 3:15am to do it. I spent an hour capturing the data and about 6 processing it all into this final image.

Image details;

  • Skywatcher 250PX Synscan Dob
  • Philips SPC900 webcam with IR fiiter
  • TAL 3x Barlow
  • 21 Panels Captured in Sharpcap
  • Image files processed in Registax 5.1
  • Cropped and stitched in photoshop

All feedback/comments gratefully received.
