Seafury
Hi does anyone on the forum have or know much about the Soligor 3.7 inch refractor that I have, that firm no longer exsists but the telescopes appear to have become GSO's subsequentlyregards Gordon
John
The scope looks very similar (except in colour) to the Meade 395 90mm F/11.1 refractor that was in their range a few years ago but the mount I think is a GEM1 which, amongst others, Orion Optics (UK) used to use for some of their smaller scopes, again a few years back.Has a rather "classic" look to it I think

John
That figures - GSO make scopes for Meade !I'm a refractor fan so I'd be interested to hear how your Soligor performs. Should be a great planetary, lunar and binary star scope
Brass n glass
I remember these in the 90s. They were sold in the UK before Skywatcher refractors and their clones started arriving here. I think Soligor was a German importer of kit from the Far East. There used to be Soligor Newtonians and eyepiece sets as well - Hugh
