Stellarium Object, Glitch or Real?

I've been browsing potential targets to photograph in Stellarium v0.11.2, and came across a string of stars that looks most un-natural. I highlighted HIP61783 on the screen so you can look up this HIP object on your version of Stellarium, and see if you have this long string of stars that runs below it.

All of the dots in the chain have different co-ordinates and magnitudes, but I can't believe it's a real feature.

No, I think it is a glitch, no sign of it on my version of Stellarium.

It's an artefact.

Looks like an artefact in one of the higher-magnitude catalogues. There are several such errors and similar ones, such as "stars" forming the halos and diffraction spikes of brighter stars, etc.
