Stargazers Rally March in notts

We are having another stargazers weekend

at trentfield notts in march

30th March -1st April this is now booked

there will be some friends of ours in caravans/motorhomes coming

from a caravan forum we are on who are also

interested in stargazing,

let me know if you are interested as soon as

toilets/showers/e.h.u.

Well what a fantastic stargazing weekend we all had this weekend

2 clear nights saturday being the best

this is what we saw................

moon

mars

jupiter

venus

saturn the rings was amazing

orions belt

pleiades (seven sisters)

orion nebula

a couple of double clusters

whirlpool galaxy (m3)

a few satellites

the moon was really bright saturday and washed alot out

but still great viewing weekend

next 1 booked for 19th Oct, same place with no moon this weekend

so fingers crossed for clear skies again
