We are a team of solar enthusiast who are planning to publish a magazine devoted to solar astronomy - SOLAR OBSERVER. At the moment, we are now in the stage of planning, as well as developing the website (http://www.linkahwai.webs.com/) and establishing the editorial team.
We are looking for people who has passion in solar astronomy and who want to contribute to our magazine or the website. If you are interested in contributing the article, or be one of our team, please contact me: linkahwai@hotmail.com

Sounds like something of interest..

Time is the biggest problem


C11 (Lunar and planetary high res), TMB 105 F6.2 /ST102 (parallel deep sky imaging rig) , Vixen A80 MF (PST mod H-A front end), Atik 314L (Primary DSO cam), DSI-C (guider), Lumenera Skynyx 2-0 m (Solar and Planetary cam), EQ6 Pro mount (general dogsbody), Modded EOS (wide field and wide Deep Sky), pair of netbooks, lots of software and an observatory.

An interesting venture

how often would the magazine come available?
I presume its a downloadable thing?

My only concern is, other than updates on activity (which is not a lot at the moment)
How would you have enough material for it?

i do think the Sun is perhaps one of the lesser fully understood objects in the solar system.
Much still to learn

good luck with it, and yes indeed i will be following it with interest as well :-)
