Nice pics, thanks for posting. Taking images like this can privide hours of fun without a huge financial lay out. I like taking images and then looking at a star atlas to see what I have 'discovered'. Its amazing just what magnitude I can get down to (8 or 9) taking images from a relatively light poluted back garden with a standard lens.

a very nice couple of images ,if you have any sense leave it at that,the dark side creeps up ,and takes over very fast ,your wallet may take a few hits in the future ......

Yes - thanks for the advice - I think I can learn a lot from doing some more camera/lens based imaging with my eq3-2 before I convince myself I have enough free time to justify buying a HEQ5.
