Storbror - normally once Darren announces the firm date you just acll up the campsite and book a pitch. There may be a discount (think last year there was) and away you go.
Turn up, pitch your tent, set up your scope and come shoot the breeze.
You'll find folk are friendly in this game.

we too are taking the caravan this year, we have a large awning so more than welcome AB to store your stuff...we gonna have electric too, so, so long as you bring some extension leads power should not be a problem.....

Hi all,
Please dont ring the campsite! Myself and Admin are working on a system for me to record all the information and payments needed here on sgl! Dates are yet to be confirmed and as soon as everything is in place i will announce it on this thread which will then redirect you to the appropriate page!
Thanks for being patient and heres to SSP2010

Hi Darren - in theory, I'll be along to SSP-MkII (or is it Mk III?) - I'm waiting on Doc to see if we're going to do a synchronised ballet with the LB's. Anyhow, I think we need an electric pitch. Last year was perfect.
Cheers

It is, indeed, a fantastic time.
I was grinning inanely most of the time.
We could do with a firm date, though.
I'm lucky enough to be free during all of August, but some people may need to book time off work.
