Open the view at the largest point. Put the time to 25 seconds and look the moving object to way from NW to E.

It moves very fast.

It enters the frame at 31 seconds and dissapears at 34 secs. Whatever it is changes course near the bottom and shoots back up.

Don't know weird.

Perhaps a fly just in front of the scope?

Theo,

Looks like a bird flying across the field of view ?? I am sure I can see its wings flapping and the way it changes direction at approximately 34secs looks very bird like?

What do you think it is ??

Best Wishes

Τhe distance is very big and the object has not the form of a bird.

The speed is too much fast for a bird in this distance. The orbit is absolutely curved.

It has the form of spot. It`s not a bird I believe it is a UFO.

Have to agree on the flapping wings. That'd be a bird in my book.

Inside of the eyepiece the object had the scheme of spot. It looks like a bird from the very bad seeing of the video i believe.

Ok nothing bad. Thanks for the comments guys.

As a regular solar observer these are not unusual - sorry Theo and the curved path at the end is probably mor to do with optics then its path

Yup it's a bird but until it can be identified by species However:-

(a) it is unidentified.

(b) it appears to be flying

(c) all physical things are 'objects'

ergo it is an unidentified flying object (UFO), no doubt about it ..... and now, moving on ......

Some birds can fly pretty high...

For example, the The Bar-headed Goose can fly up to heights of 10175 m (33,382) feet above sea level....I think some vultures can fly that high too...

My friend i speak for a spot over the big sun with 7.5X digital CANON zoom and PLOSSL 17mm on CORONADO.

I speak for hundrend thousand km near to zenith not for 10 km. Can you tell me who much high can fly a sattelite and how can you see from 17mm plossl only. Can fly a bird at the same height...???????

Theo, it is a UFO, but only because a definitive answer is not forthcoming. There is every possibility that it is probably a bird.
Without scientific examination of the AVI there is not much point in pursuing this subject.
I have had a look at your solar images on your Blog.
They are very good indeed. Some wonderful prominences captured.
Ron.
