1st image taken with the ED80 Pro 20 subs stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and tweaked inPS.



Second image using the 120 Helios and a 2X barlow. 15 subs and stacked in DSS tweaked in PS.

That second image is fantastic Greg , the second is just a little over exposed but still very good..

I'll try doing the first again, subtracting the "Light Frames" First...

The second image was on auto...Machine knows best me thinks

Is that a synta 120 f/5 Greg or f/8.3? Great shot with no colour

It's the f8.3 Gordon,It shows little or no colour. I understand they made some good ones and some not so good ones!

Thanks James. I think I was trying to be a bit too clever with the first image.

Just starting to get to grips with this light/dark frame subtraction...I think i'll just put all the RAWs in and let the Pentium do the work 8) While I drink wine

When using the Canon DSLR i use a combination of slightly over exposed images and just under exposed images with the Moon, i find i get a perfect exposure after the resulting Stack.

Looks Fab anyway Greg!
