Default M51 au 150mm - 1st April 2009, 08:54 PM

Hello Everybody!

Yesderday, I tried to shoot M51. I thought obtains a better result but on 55x120s, I keeped just 22x120s, my secondary mirror was misted, and I didn't see...
But the result is not too bad because we can see IC4263, NGC5169 and NGC5198...

I agree very nice image.

Plenty of detail in the spiral arms. I, personally, prefer M51 with a bi of space around her. Put's it into perspective for me.

Very nice shot for unguided!

Background could do with be a little darker? or am I wide of the mark on that?

Ant

Thats a very good shot for the 300D, end even more so when you consider it was not auto-guided.

Thanks for posting
