Event details

The peak of the Orionid meteor shower (25 per hour) occurs at 17:00 UT. A new moon on the 23rd means that viewing conditions for this year's Orionids should be excellent. They should be viewable from c21st - 23rd October and will emanate from the 'club' of Orion near Betelgeuse.
