Please ask your questions in the forum, not in your own personal blog. That way you will get more answers. In the meantime the problem could be that you have not adjusted the focuser.

Sounds like out of focus - the bright circle, Jupiter I guess. The spikes are part of owning a reflector. Also check that you have taken the 2" eyepiece adaptor out of the focuser otherwise you will never get it to focus..

hi mate, how long had it been outside? i have a 200p and it needs to be outside for at least 45min to a hour to reach the same temp as outside before its ready to start observing,or after this if you still don't get a good image you may need to collomate you mirrors,there is loads of good videos on youtube which will show you how its done. i hope this has been helpful. all the best and i wish all clear skys.

Yeh I've done some research and I think the primary mirror is out of focus so I will try to sort that now. Thanks

yes mate when it sorted you will get some fantastic sights i cant fault the 200p a great allroud scope, i use a laszer collimator for mine there about £25 off ebay.

id just like to add if you get a laszer collimator before  you use it make sure its true by laying it on a flat level table or bench about six inch away from a wall and roll it all the way back and forwards, note the beam and if it stays at the same hight you know it true, if its not true there are useally 3 screws to adjust it. good luck and clear skys to all.

hi again, its been 5 weeks and my laser finally came, i went out that night and i collomated my telescope, but still i see the same exact thing.

any other advice???

Please could you take a picture of your focuser? It may have the 2" adaptor still in in which means you cant focus it
